He was the Senior Pastor of the 1900-member Arlington, Texas Seventh-day Adventist Church for 17 years, and has additional experience as a Counselor, Christian High School Bible Teacher, Youth Pastor, Senior Chapain for medical and psychiatric facilities, and author. Mike holds a Master's Degree in Counseling and has served as a "Pastor's Pastor" for ministers in his denomination. He is also the current host of the award-wining Lifestyle Magazine.

Congratulations to Wilson and Andrea Mafi on the birth of their daughter, Anesu Rose Koro Mafi, born September 22, 2011 at 3:03 a.m. She weighed 7 lbs 11 oz, and was 19.5 inches long. The proud grandparents are Keffie and Lafane Battles.

Welcome to Anthony Jack Brown, Jr. - son of Sara & T.J. Brown (you may remember her as Sara Wilson)! Jack arrived 5 weeks early (September 5) and is remaining in the hospital until he is breathing a bit better. Maternal grandparents are Staci and Steve Wilson (Tyler church). Big sister, Gale (11 months), is anxiously awaiting her baby brother to arrive home. Maternal great-grandparents are Olinda & David Pinkerton.
We will be having a special Vespers program on Friday, December 31, 2010. Come and close out the Year 2010 with photos and reflections of the Church history here in Tyler. The King's Heralds will be having a concert at Tyler Seventh Day Adventist Church on January 20th, 2011 at 7pm.
The internationally acclaimed KING'S HERALD quartet brings to the stage an eighty two year heritage in gospel music. Founded in Keene, TX in 1927 by four young college students, the group has come to be recognized world-wide for their blend and musical expertise. Current members of the quartet are Don Scroggs, Tenor; Joel Borg, Lead; Russell Hospedales, Baritone and Jeff Pearles, Bass.
The KING'S HERALDS have received twenty three "silver angel awards". They've also received a "gold angel award" on recognition for their being the oldest, continuous gospel quartet in America.
They have recorded in 30 languages on over 100 albums and toured fifty countries.
